PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain adhesion for long period of time in seawater of a coated layer by preventing osmosis of water content from a coating end part in seawater by a method wherein a strip sealing layer composed of moisture-curing urethane resin is provided in an end edge part of a heavy duty coating. SOLUTION: Heavy-duty corrosion resisting coated steel sheet pile is composed of a steel sheet pile 1, a substrate treated layer 2, an adhesion layer 3, a corrosion resisting layer 4, and an end part-sealing layer 5. Though sealing material such as silicone series, modified silicone series, etc., is used for a strip sealing layer, a moisture-curing resin composition, preferably a moisture-curing urethane resin composition is provided. When the moisture-curing urethane resin composition is applied as an end part sealing material, free isocyanate groups react mutually with moisture in the air to form a urea bond. Therefore, three dimensional infinity network structure is formed to be cured. Since the sealing layer is composed of the urethane bond and the urea bond, it is extremely excellent in water resistance, and a function as the sealing material for a long period of time is developed even in seawater. |
