PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which achieves a shortening of the ice making/refrigerating time with a simple structure. SOLUTION: An ice making chamber 14 and a freezer compartment 16 are provided in one space and a dead space 54 for dividing the ice making chamber 14 and the freezer compartment 16 is provided with a second fan 56. The second fan 56 is arranged on the front of an ever cover 34 corresponding to the dead space 54. The second fan 56 is driven to stir up cooled air in the storage thereby allowing shortening of the ice making/refrigerating time. The second fan 56 provided in the dead space 54 eliminates a decrease in the capacity in the storage.
