The barrel lock comprises first and second barrel housings (2,3), each with pin tumblers, barrel cores and a closing clasp (7). The two barrel housings are linked to an E-shaped housing carrier (13). The housing carrier has a clasp opening (12) for a holding screw. A protecting disc is freely movable in a protecting shield (41).
