NMIFA's as anti-inflammatory agents in superficial mammal tissues

A topical pharmaceutical or cosmetic composition comprising, as the active ingredient, at least one of the NMIFA's having the following formula, wherein the NMIFA is under the form of an acid, a salt or an ester, and R1 is C1-C5 alkyl and R2 is C2-C6 alkyl, preferably wherein the NMIFA is 20:3(5,11,14). These NMIFA's are used for the preparation of a composition intended to modulate the metabolism of lipids in superficial mammal tissues.
