PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle winch can prevent a motor from being degraded by excessive energy consumption of an electric energy storage means which stores power supply energy, and reduce fuel consumption of an engine with smooth start performance ensured at the time of starting the vehicle. SOLUTION: When the energy storage amount of a motor battery 20 is sufficient at the time of starting a vehicle, the output for starting the vehicle is generated at a motor 2 by power feeding from a battery 20 with an engine 1 kept in an idling condition or an operation stopping condition, so that the vehicle is started by the output of the motor 2. When the energy storage amount of the battery 20 becomes a little insufficient, the output for starting the vehicle is generated to the engine 1 with the motor 2 being in the operation stopping condition, so that the vehicle is started by the output of the engine 1. |
