PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practical electronic dictionary with which intellectual work of a user can be effectively supported and further operability and serviceability can be improved. SOLUTION: A code or code stream corresponding to a part selected out of an input image is obtained, information related to this code or code stream is retrieved from a data base, and the retrieved information is presented and outputted near a selected margin section of the input image or in any area different from the input image together with the image of a pull-out line from the selected section. |
