PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of non-uniform tension between each ribbon and prevent a wrinkle and lack of uniformity in printed matter, in the case of supplying a web through a nip between nip rollers, in a roller for a fold device in a web supplying rotary press printer. SOLUTION: A plurality of gathering rollers overlapping together a plurality of supply coming ribbons 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d to form a layered web 2 and a first/ second nip roller 12, 14 provided with a coating of elastic material in the periphery of a core are provided. The layered web 2, in a condition substantially into contact with both the nip rollers 12, 14, passes through a nip 10 between both the nip rollers 12, 14. |
