PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elctrophotography device capable of enhancing user maintenance performance and jam treatment performance, and of preventing the occurrence of an image failure. SOLUTION: This elctrophotography device is equipped with an intermediate transfer drum (an image carrier) 7 for forming a toner image; a transfer belt 10 transferring a toner image to transfer material from the intermediate transfer drum 7 and carrying the transfer material; and a diselectrification charger 13 diselectrifying the transfer material on the transfer belt 10. An intermediate transfer body unit 14 formed by integrating the diselectrification charger 13 with the intermediate transfer drum 7 is detachably and replaceably formed from a main body. Since the intermediate transfer body unit 14 formed by integrating the diselectrification charger 13 with the intermediate transfer drum 7 is detachably and replaceably formed from the main body, a user can simply replace both integrally at a replacing time. In the case of the detention of the transfer material by a jam, the intermediate transfer body unit 14 can be extracted from the main body so as to resolve the jam so that user maintenance performance and jam treatment performance are enhanced. |
