PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film cartridge capable of facilitating the handling of a photographic film after being developed, eliminating a fear that the film is damaged and soiled and recording various kinds of information related to the photographic film. SOLUTION: A film cartridge 6 is convenient for housing/preserving a long- size photographic film 2 after being photographed, because it can be wound in a cartridge main body having a single spool 8 and further, the film 2 is never exposed to the outside of the cartridge so that there is no fear of the damage and soiling of the film 2, that is, the film 2 can be excellently preserved. Moreover, an IC memory is mounted to the film cartridge 6 and the film 2 is coated with a magnetic recording layer so that various kinds of information related to the film 2 can be recorded on the IC memory and a magnetic recording layer. |
