In a process and assembly to manufacture dough-based products, the dry flour is mixed with a liquid and kneaded into a mass. The dry component is introduced through an extruder into which the liquid is also introduced to the dry flour and mixed. The dough is both mixed and processed within the extruder. The resulting finished dough mixture is expelled from the extruder. |
