PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a radio receiver within a specific area from being inconvenient while avoiding trouble caused by bringing the radio receiver with a strong output radio wave in the area. SOLUTION: A portable telephone terminal equipment is provided with a radio circuit 3 for a strong radio wave, a radio circuit 4 for a weak radio wave, and a changeover switch 6 that selects them or the like, and when the terminal equipment enters a specific area such as a hospital where the use of a wide area portable telephone terminal with a strong output radio wave is inhibited, the function of the a radio circuit 3 for a strong radio wave is stopped and the radio circuit 4 for a weak radio wave is activated by operating the circuit 6 by the user so as to prevent the terminal from being inconvenient while avoiding adverse effect by a strong radio wave. |
