PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for processing document and a storage medium with which communication can be performed on a network with high quality in terms of security by transmitting/receiving a document added into electronic mail or WEB document through a dedicated program. SOLUTION: This device has a CPU 101 with which reduced image data of a document added thereto are prepared and embedded at a designated position of the document in a prescribed format. At the same time, the CPU 101 establishes indexing to a program linked to the reduced image data in a prescribed format when sending the document to an external device, and allows the document data to be loaded by the program linked to the reduced image data in the document when receiving the document from the external device on the other hand. The above device is further provided with a network interface card 110 for transmitting/receiving the document with the external device. |
