摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large-sized dispersion type electrooptical device whose cost is lower and whose manufacturing is easy by fixing spacers on the substrate of one side or other side of one pair of substrates with organic matter. SOLUTION: At the time of manufacturing a dispersion type liquid crystal electrooptical device having one pair of substrates 1, 2 which have electrodes 3 and in which at least the substrate of one side is a translucent substrate and a light control layer 5 including transparent solid matter and liquid crystal material in between this one pair of substrate 1, 2, spacers 4 are dispersedly arranged on the electrode surface side of the substrate 1 of one side of the one pair of the substrates 1, 2 to be fixed on the electrode side of the substrate 1. Thereafter, the light control layer 5 is formed. Then, one pair of the substrate 1, 2 are stuck in a prescribed positional relation to be fixed. In such a way, a liquid crystal electrooptical device whose surface interval is uniform is realized by fixing the spacers 4 on the substrate 1, forming the liquid control layer 5 and distributing the spacers 4 uniformly. In this case, composite spacers 4 are fixed to the substrate 1 with organic matter.
