PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately display the position of a traveling object on a monitor map at a base, and at the same time accurately display the position of a number of traveling objects on the monitor map by reducing total costs. SOLUTION: A GPS device is provided with traveling GPS equipment 9 for detecting a position by receiving on electronic wave from a GPS satellite 13 while being fitted to the traveling object 8, a radio machine 11 for transmitting a position signal being detected by the traveling GPS equipment 9 by radio, and base GPS equipment 10 for displaying the position of the traveling object 8 on a monitor map 12 by receiving the position signal of the radio machine 11. The base GPS equipment 10 is provided with an antenna 14; a receiver 15 for receiving the electronic waves from the GPS satellite 13; and an operation circuit 16 that compares the operation position of a base being calculated from the output of the receiver 15 with the accurate fixed position of the base station, calculates a position correction difference for correcting the operation position to an accurate position, then corrects the position signal being transmitted from the traveling GPS equipment 9 with the operated position correction error, and displays it on the monitor map 12 at the base. |
