PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner of air conditioner which prevents leakage of light of an ultraviolet lamp outside the body while allowing detachably mounting of a photo deodorizing filter to reduce an installing space. SOLUTION: There are arranged a font panel which is mounted on the front of a body base and provided with a suction port at an upper part thereof and a blowoff port at a lower part thereof, a suction grill mounted freely detaching and opening or closing on the front of the front panel, a photo deodorizing filter 8 which is detachably mounted on a grid part of the front panel and excited by light to decompose odor components and a heat exchanger and an air fan to send air subjected to heat exchange with the heat exchanger to the blowoff port, both of which are arranged in an air path connecting the suction port and the blowoff port and the like. In this case, an ultraviolet lamp 12 as light source is arranged on the front panel on the front of the photo deodorizing filter 8 while a light shielding means 13 is provided at an upper part of the ultraviolet lamp 12 to prevent leakage of light from the ultraviolet lamp 12 outside the body. |
