MICROPHONE SYSTEM COMPOSED OF PLURAL PARTIAL BAND MICROPHONES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microphone system with which a high dynamic range can be provided over a wide band. SOLUTION: This system is composed of (n) pieces (n) is an integer >=2} of microphone groups 11-13 for performing electric transformation of sounds in a prescribed partial band and a synthesizing means 700 for synthesizing these A/D converted (n) pieces of outputs, so that digital codes over all the bands are extracted. It is preferable that the system is composed of aΔΣmodulator forΔΣmodulation with prescribed band characteristics and a decimation filter for thinning sampling data while limiting bands with the respective prescribed frequency characteristics. The microphone system is provided by improving stability through A/D converting elements 1000, 2000 and 3000 and providing a high dynamic range over wide bands through mutual complementary operations of the microphone groups 11-13 specified on the prescribed band.
