PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of an image forming device by processing the cover original images separately from the content original images based on a cover mode to place the cover original images at each designated position on the covers and outputting the original images with the cover after arranging them so that the pages are set forward in a state where the transfer paper including the original images transcribed on its both sides is folded in half. SOLUTION: Cover originals are set on each other in the order of a front cover, an inside front cover, an inside back cover and a back cover, on a bundle of text originals which are put on an original feeder 1 in the order of pages. A cover mode is set via an operating part of a copying machine, and the surface where the original images should be transcribed is designated for the transfer paper to be used as a cover. The control part of the copying machine arranges the image data on a layout memory so that each cover original image is located on the corresponding surface of the transfer paper serving as a cover. In regard to the text original images, the image data are arranged on the layout memory so that the pages are set forward in a state where a text transfer paper including the original images transcribed on its both side is folded in half. Then the transcription of the transfer paper is carried out at a transcription part 16, and the transfer paper is sent to a transfer paper ejection processor 100 and folded there in half. |
