<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a liquid crystal display device using a low temperature polycrystal silicon TFT to a projector device. SOLUTION: Light from a light source is made to a predetermined linearly polarized light through a polarized flight separation filter 62 and a 1st polarizing plate 64, and a liquid crystal display device is irradiated with it. This liquid crystal display device 50 uses a low temperature polysilicon TFT, and has a wide viewing angle. Moreover, this liquid crystal display device 50 uses aluminum for the picture element electrode, and this functions as a reflective layer. Screen 70 is irradiated with the reflected light of the liquid crystal display device 50 through a 2nd polarizing plate 66 and a projector lens 68.</p> |
