<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain transmission/reception of monitor information with high reliability in a submarine cable system, in which a plurality of landing stations are placed in a ring. SOLUTION: An extraction circuit 31 provides an output of monitor information (c) to a superimposing circuit 34 and a comparison/selection circuit 32. An extraction circuit 36 provides an output of monitor information (d) to a superimposing circuit 37 and the comparison/selection circuit 32. The comparison/selection circuit 32 compares the monitor information (c) with the monitor information (d) and provides an output of monitor information based on the comparison result to a monitor 1. A self-station information detection/sequence number circuit 33 receives various self-station information and provides a number to specify the time to the information and provides an output of the results to the superimposing circuit 34, 37. The superimposing circuits 34, 37 update the monitor information from the extraction circuit 31, 36' using the information from the self-station information detection/sequence number circuit 33 and provide an output of the updated monitor information via output circuits 35, 38.</p> |
