PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of efficiently and effectively synthesizing image data inputted and image data in a routine form and to provide its controlling method and a computer-readable memory. SOLUTION: An image forming device is provided with a color/black-and- white conversion filter 612 for converting the color information of routine form color image data stored in an internal image storage device 355 and a color information conversion part 613. Then, when the conversion of the color information of the routine form color image data is designated, the color information of the color image data is converted in accordance with the contents of the conversion and the converted routine form color image data and objective image data to be synthesized are mutually synthesized by an image synthesis part 606 to output the synthesized data. |
