PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize good stability and controllability, to greatly enhance wet performances, and to reduce tire noises. SOLUTION: A tire is provided with a lateral main groove 10 located at the equator of the tire C and its vicinity, a plurality of slanted main grooves 11 which extend from a starting point P1 toward the vicinity of both sides of the lateral main groove in the opposite direction of tire rotation F, gradually increasing the angle formed with the circumferential direction of the tire, and a plurality of slanted secondary grooves 12 which extend from an intermediate region Yn of the slanted main groove 11 in the opposite direction of tire rotation F. The angle formed by the slanted main groove 11 at the starting point P1 is 0 to 15 degrees, and the angle formed with exterior edge Te of the road contact surface of the tire is 60 to 90 degrees. |
