PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material high in sensitivity but yet good in graininess and not fluctuating in photographic performances even in the case of causing a little stagnation of a coating solution at the time of coating. SOLUTION: This silver halide color photographic sensitive material is provided with at least each one of red-, green-, and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers on one side of a support and at least one of the green-sensitive layers contains a magenta coupler represented by the general formula (M-a) and monodispersed flat silver halide grains having a thickness distribution of <=25% and a grain diameter distribution of <=25 weight% represented as follows: grain diameter distribution (%) = (standard deviation/average grain diameter)×100, and thickness distribution (%) = (standard distribution/average thickness)×100. In the general formula, R11 is an aromatic group substituted by a sulfonamide group, and each of R12 and R13 is an aromatic group.
