PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker which enables controlling of temperature for a plurality of cooking pans different in quality. SOLUTION: A set temperature inputted is stored for an edible oil in a pan (S501) andΔT0 is measured (S505) to determineΔT1 (S509). Here, theΔT0 represents a rise in the measured temperature of the pan when a heating is made for 70 sec. at 1,200 W starting from the time when the measured temperature of the pan reaches 90 deg.C. TheΔT1 represents a drop in the measured temperature of the pan up to 40 sec. after the stoppage of the heating starting from 5 sec. after the heating is stopped at the time when the measured temperature of the pan reaches 120 deg.C. TheΔT0 andΔT1 are used to determine the quality of the pan (S510, S514 and S517). The control temperature of the pan is determined from the set temperature and the quality of the pan.
