PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of executing quick variable power processing by preferentially executing variable power processing from the direction of designated smaller variable magnification for the order of variable power processing in the horizontal and vertical directions. SOLUTION: An image processor is provided with a picture signal input part 1 for inputting a picture signal, a variable magnification designation part 2 for designating the horizontal direction and vertical direction variable magnification values of the picture signal inputted to the input part 1 and an image variable power processing part 3 for executing variable power processing for the picture signal inputted to the input part 1 in accordance with the variable magnification designated by the designation part 2 and the processing part 3 is provided with a function for executing the processing by judging it from the variable mangification designated by the designation part 2. The processing part 3 is also provided with a function for preferentially executing variable power processing for the direction of smaller variable magnification designated by the designation part 2 out of the variable power processing in the horizontal and vertical directions. |
