PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio telephone set where the operability and the convenience are remarkably enhanced. SOLUTION: In the case that a radio telephone set makes an emergency phone call, a CPU 1 selects an area for making the emergency call from contents of a storage section 4 based on position information from a base station obtained through a high frequency section 6 and a modulation section 5 and selects a corresponding area number automatically from emergency call numbers for each area having been already stored in the storage section 4 and makes a call to the number. Thus, the user surely and quickly makes an emergency call through a key operation for the emergency call without notice of the emergency call telephone number and the difference from the emergency call telephone numbers depending on the areas. |
