PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoisolation circuit which can surely transmit signals at a high speed, while suppressing the deterioration of the current transmissing rate of an element. SOLUTION: A photoisolation circuit is constituted in such a way, that when the change of input signals is detected in a prescribed direction, a trigger for making a starting current which is larger than that made to flow into a light- emitting diode 4 at the normal turning-on time of the diode 4 to flow into the diode 4 is generated from a trigger generating circuit. Furthermore, when the change of input signals is detected in the opposite direction, another trigger for stopping the operation of the diode 4 is generated from the circuit 10. The diode 4 is made to emit strong light by making heavy current to flow into the diode 4 only for the initial short time, in accordance with the change in the input signals and maintained in an operating state with a normal operating current during the remaining operating period. |
