PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device realizing the uniform supply of a developer, and capable of providing an excellent image without image density unevenness or background fog in copying in any mode. SOLUTION: This image formation device is equipped with a developer vessel 10, a toner sensor (a developer amount detection means) 11, a developer supplying and controlling means, and a carrying screw (a developer carrying means) 31, and is controlled so that a developer is supplied for a predetermined time and the supply of the developer is halted for a predetermined time by the developer supplying and controlling means. The sum of the predetermined time required for the supply of the developer and the predetermined time of the halt is set to be a time required for the shortest operation mode or less, and both the predetermined time required for the supply of the developer and the predetermined time required for the halt are caused to terminate in one operation mode. |
