PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera provided with a boosting circuit, capable of securing a stable operation, even if a high load generates. SOLUTION: A camera is provided with a shutter driving circuit 4 actuated by using the output of a DC/DC converter 2 for boosting the battery voltage of a battery 1 as power supply and a CPU 3 which uses a load circuit such as an AFIC 6 and the output of the DC/DC converter 2, as the power supply and in which the current consumption, is changed according to an operating clock frequency. Then, the operating clock frequency of the CPU 3 is changed so that the total of the current consumption of the shutter driving circuit 4 or the load circuit such as the AFIC 6 and the CPU 3 does not exceed the suppliable current of the DC/DC converter 2 during the operation of the DC/DC converter 2. |
