PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared sensor which can efficiently absorb incident infrared rays. SOLUTION: A sensor element is formed apart from a substrate 1 and composed of a photodetecting section 2 which is formed apart from a substrate 1 and detects incident light, pulling-out sections 11 and 12 which are formed in the peripheral section of the photodetecting section 2 apart from the substrate 1, and leg sections 3 and (4). The sensor element is also provided with a wiring section for connecting detected results of the section 2 to a pattern on the substrate 1 and a micro-lens 7 which is formed apart from the section 2 and outputs the incident light to the section 2 in a condensed state. The area of the section 2 is adjusted to 1/2 of the total area of the section 2 and wiring section. Therefore, the size of the photodetecting section 2 can be reduced. |
