PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition enabling the proper flowing capable of supplying an right amount of the ink necessary for writing and having excellent time preservability and excellent writing touch by including a coloring agent, water, an ionic polysaccharide and a clay thickener. SOLUTION: This ink composition comprises (A) a coloring agent [a dye (for example, C.I. ACID BLUE 90) and/or a pigment (for example, black iron oxide), (B) water (pure water), (C) <=0.2 wt.% of an ionic polysaccharide (for example, xanthane gum), and (D) a clay thickener (for example, bentonite). Therein, the component A, B and C are preferably contained in amount of 0.01-30 wt.%, >=5 wt.% and 0.01-0.5 wt.%, respectively. A water-soluble organic solvent having a moisture-retaining property, such as ethylene glycol or glycerol, is preferably added to the component B. |
