The electric pressure converter (1) consists of a valve device which is operated by a plunger-type armature and forms a mixture pressure out of two different pressures applied at pressure unions. This is passed via a further union to a consumer, especially a pressure-proportional final control element. A second valve device (8) with a plunger-type armature (9) is provided and a pressure sensor detects the mixture pressure, which is located with an operational amplifier and switching transistors on or in the pressure converter, connected via electrical leads to a set point transmitter and a voltage source.
