Process for the treatment of fibreboard wastes

The method involves shredding of the pulverized fibre-board waste after pressureless heat treatment in a liquid medium and final pressure treatment by steam expansion. The heat treatment can last 10 to 120 minutes in a liquid medium at a temperature of be tween 50 and 95 . The liquid can be process-water from the manufacture of fibre-board panels. For the final pressure treatment saturated steam at pressures of 5 to 20 bar can be used. Before addition to the production flow the rejected fibres can be diluted with process water
