Inspection system of internal zones of a machine by optical fiber endoscopy

A wiring loom (51,52) is permanently installed along the required inspection routes within the machine (50). The endoscope (7) enters the machine through a special orifice (25) in the outer casing. The array reports back the position of the endoscope which can then be steered to inspection points. An external monitor (53) provides a display (57) of the various routes and the position of the endoscope.
