摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision in speed measurement by making separation of mobile body's acceleration from gravitational acceleration component due to inclination of the mobile body, among such acceleration as applied to an acceleration sensor. SOLUTION: The speed measurement device comprises a global positioning system(GPS) receiver 3 which measures the speed information of a mobile body using the information from a satellite, and a calculation process part 6 which deletes a gravitational acceleration component to the mobile body when it moves a surface inclined from the horizontal direction using the speed information measured with the GPS receiver 3 and an acceleration information measured with an acceleration sensor 4. Thus, among accelerations applied to the acceleration sensor 4, the gravitational acceleration due to mobile body's acceleration and its inclination, etc., is separated with ease.
