<p>PURPOSE:To prepare light, good workable, and reliable cable grip by braiding composite braid and composite wire rope into a hollow tube. CONSTITUTION:Composite braid 2 and composite wire rope 2' are braided into a hollow tube to form cable grip 1. With this, the cable grip thus prepared has features that even in case the cable grip thus prepared touches a sharp edge and the composite braid thereof is cut, the composite wire rope is not cut off and the remaining part thereof is safe, that even in case a distortion torque by the cable is applied to the cable, the cable grip is less distorted and the cable is not cut off, that this cable grip can reduce weight 2/3-1/2 times the conventional one, that this cable grip is so flexible that it can easily be handled, and that this electrically insulated cable grip and its flexibility enables it to fit well to a cable inserted therein with considerable friction, thus causing neither slipping off of the inserted cable from the cable grip, nor damaging the cable and pipe, nor rusting the cable and pipe.</p> |
