1. A method of protecting air turbine engine against entering birds characterised by that the moment a bird enters into the inlet channel a momentary unstable engine operation is forced out to obtain reverse air flow in the inlet channel and blow out the entering bird outside the inlet perimeter, while unstable engine operation is forced out by means of at least one partition which is temporarily inserted into the inlet channel right in front of the engine in a roughly perpendicular plane to the direction of air stream flow and at the moment of generating an impulse by at least one of the unit sensors reacting to the presence of a bird in the stream, which are located near the inlet channel entry.
