<p>The invention concerns a gearwheel for gear assemblies used in particular in control or transmission in cylinder mills. More particularly, it concerns gearwheels of gear assemblies used in conditions of very high stresses and wherein at least one gear wheel is made of a polymer material. The invention is characterised in that the tooth profiles (2, 2') are adapted, in their shape and surface structure, to the specific stresses, so as to maintain, in rolling contact, an important face clearance for a substantially unmodified overlap.</p> |
