<p>The chair is based on mechanical principle and is usedresidentially for furnishing private and public buildings andoffices, etc. being particularly suitable for computer workplaces. The dynamic chair consists of supporting legs on which aseat and a back are fitted. The seat is of two longitudinal parts,each of them in the form of a semi-spheric bed (1) in which aspherical body (2) is fitted having a limiting ring (3), and asitting flat piece (4) being mounted on top of them. The two beds(1) are connected by a bridge (11) and an eccentric shaft (10) onwhich, under each of the beds (1) a braking cover plate (9) isfitted. Under the force applied on the two longitudinal parts ofthe seat they take up a separate and independant place in spacewhere the centre of their masses forms a segment of a sphere or ofanother more complex surface. The fixing mechanism allows to lockthe seat flat pieces (4) in the desired position. The relativeindependence of motion of the two halves of the human locomotorapparatus is taken in consideration in the structure of the chair.It protects the spinal cord from bending deformation, allowspeople suffering from locomotor diseases or of proctologicdiseases to take up more sparing positions, strengthens themuscles and reduces fatigue after long seating.2 claims, 3 figures</p> |
