PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable video telephone system where it is recognized in which mode an image is displayed now by having only to view a screen display size and an image is displayed with a maximum size of a display section in the image photographing mode. SOLUTION: At the arrival of an incoming call, type information added to a header of incoming call information is detected. In the case of the video telephone mode, a display section 29 is divided into two, an image sent from an opposite party is displayed on a right side display section 29b. An image received from a removable image photographing adaptor is displayed on a left side display section 29a. Furthermore, in the digital camera mode, an image is displayed on the entire display section 30. Thus, the video telephone mode is discriminate from the other image display mode on the display screen and then mis-operation is prevented, and in the other mode than the video telephone mode, the image is confirmed in more detail than that in the video telephone mode. |
