STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR LAYING DRAIN COLLECTING PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce drain noises, without posing problems regarding the fire laws, by installing a noise-reduction layer inside a mounting hole passing through a floor slab, without promoting the spread of a fire. SOLUTION: In a structure for laying a drain collecting pipe 1, in which the drain collecting pipe 1 having a noise-reduction layer 6 formed on the outer periphery of a part along the direction of its pipe axis is laid so that the part of the pipe 1 where the noise-reduction layer 6 is formed is located inside a mounting hole 20 passing through the floor slab 2 of a building, an annular area wherein the part of the pipe 1 for forming the noise-reduction layer 6 is not located is provided inside the mounting hole 20 and is closed by a noncombustible material 21 to shut off the vertical communication of the floor slab 2.
