PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for high assembly precision when respective optical elements are built and to improve the mass-productivity of a device by providing the optical waveguide structure which is applied to an optical integrated device where optical elements having independent substrates are integrated. SOLUTION: While optical elements 22 and 24 are integrated, the 1st optical waveguide 36 of one optical element 22 and the 2nd optical waveguide 52 of the other optical element 24 are arranged opposite each other at a specific distance. Light which travels along the 2nd optical waveguide 53 is optically coupled with the 1st optical waveguide 36. |
