摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-insulated switchgear having degrees of freedom in its layout by minimizing its site space. SOLUTION: This switchgear is constituted of a three-phase main bus bar section 10 composed by putting high-voltage conductors 13 for three-phases in a grounded tank 11, a branch conductor 14 branched in the upward direction of the grounded tank 11 from a conductor of each phase of the three-phase main bus bar section 10, the lead sections 15 of the grounded tank 11 where these branch conductors 14 penetrate, and grounding switches 20 and photoconversion type potential transformers 30 successively connected to these lead sections 15. The photoconversion type potential transformers 30 are those obtained by merely housing cylindrical intermediate conductors 33 in grounded tanks 32 and do not need heavy windings like those heretofore in use. As a result, it becomes possible to sharply reduce the weight of the potential transformers and to provide either of a grounding switch 20 and a photoconversion type potential transformer 30 for each phase, on the grounded tank 11 of the three-phase main bus bar section 10.</p>
