<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe connecting device which prevents the application of a great force to the base part etc., of a branch opening part due to the relative movements of a fluid pipe and a case and which prevents the leaking of water due to the movements of the fluid pipe and the case. SOLUTION: In a pipe connecting device, a fluid pipe 1 and a case 2 can move relative to each other in the direction of the pipe axis and rotate in the circumferential direction of the pipe even at the application of a bending, tensile or compressive force to the pipe connecting device due to an earthquake or ground subsidence etc., and a locking member 12 mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the fluid pipe 1 abuts to a movement stopping member 10 to stop excessive movement, thus preventing the application of a great force to the base part etc., of a branch opening part 5. Also, since the locking member 12 is firmly secured to the fluid pipe 1, an accident such as the leakage of water due to the excessive relative movement of the pipe connecting device is also prevented.</p> |
