PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate patterning for plural metal electrodes, and to prevent intrusion of water or oxigen from an outside by dividing the second electrode into plural regions with a space respectively and by arranging in the space a metal material composing the second electrode in nonconductive condition. SOLUTION: Metal electrodes 101 (the second electrode) are extended in parallel respectively, and arranged plurally with a space. Nonconductive parts 104 are formed in the spaces. The nonconductive part 104 is arranged closely in the space between the neighboring metal electrodes 101, and an organic layer 103 (a luminescent layer) is covered thereby with a layer comprising the metal electrode 101 and the nonconductive part 104 to be hardly exposed to water or oxigen intruded from outside air. The nonconductive part 104 is formed by irradiating the spacing part for the metal electrode 101 with a laser beam after one continuous layer corresponding to the electrode 101 and the part 104 is formed with a metal material by vapor deposition or the like. |
