PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable precise analysis of an accident for a short time when an accident is caused by detecting abnormality of operation independently of a device main body by an abnormality detecting means detecting abnormality of operation. SOLUTION: A CPU 109 controls an image forming device main body 100, and detects an abnormal state. A CPU (abnormality detecting means) 116 of a storage device 101 detects an abnormal state independently of the image forming device main body 100, and stores data of the abnormal state in a hard disk (storage means) 111. When an error occurs, writing in the storage device 101 is prohibited, it is discriminated whether a power source is cut off or not, if an error occurs, writing in the storage device 101 is prohibited. Thus, precise analysis of an accident can be performed for a short time even at occurrence of an accident by storing history of operation of the image forming device main body 100, updating storage for each fixed time, stopping undating storage when the prescribed trigger conditions are satisfied, and storing an abnormal state of the image forming device main body 100. |
