<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive auto changer device for information equip ment, such that players can be positioned and connected at a position correspond ing to each shelf of a magazine by means of a simple structure using a small number of sensors. SOLUTION: In accordance with a magazine 34 in which a recording medium 32 is stored in each shelf, a player is supported by a raising/lowering mechanism and driven by a driving mechanism so that the raising/lowering mechanism is moved vertically only by the distance between stop positions corresponding to the mutual distance between the shelves, the driving mechanism is controlled by a control means, with a state as an origin in which the player 36 reaching the reference position is detected by sensor 124 and is which the driving mechanism reaching the stop position is also detected by the sensor, and the player 36 is controllably moved to the position corresponding to the desired shelf of the magazine 34.</p> |
