PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a simple conductively cooled superconducting magnet device having superior cooling performance. SOLUTION: A superconducting coil 1 has a superconducting winding 3 wound around a cylindrical bobbin 2, having a cylindrical section 2a and flange sections 2b. The bobbin 2 is made of nonmagnetic stainless steel. The heat generated from the winding 3 is transferred to the bobbin 2 and conducted to a refrigerator 4 from a good heat conductor 11a which is provided close to the inner peripheral section of the cylindrical section 2a of the bobbin 2 via a heat transfer bar 11b and then cooled. The conductor 11a and bar 11b constitute a heat transfer member 11, and the member 11 is made of copper having high thermal conductivity. Since the bobbin 2 has higher thermal conductivity made of an insulator and the member 11 has thermal conductivity higher than the bobbin 2 has, the outer peripheral section of the winding 3 can be cooled more efficiently than the case where the section is cooled through heat conduction. |
