A magnetic sensor has a nonmagnetic insulating layer (2) which separates ferromagnetic conductive layers (1, 3) and which includes a layer of ferromagnetic particles (4) with magnetization characteristics different from those of the ferromagnetic conductive layers. An Independent claim is also included for production of the above sensor by applying a ferromagnetic conductive layer (1) on a substrate, applying a first nonmagnetic insulating material layer, forming a thin layer of ferromagnetic conductive material which aggregates into particles (4), applying a second nonmagnetic insulating material layer, and applying a ferromagnetic conductive layer (3). Preferred Features: The insulating layer consists of Al2O3. The ferromagnetic particles (4) may be covered with a ferromagnetic, antiferromagnetic or ferrimagnetic material or ferrite. |
