Variable voltage supply for powering klystron oscillator tubes

Full wave rectifier 5.1 produces a DC voltage at capacitor 5.2. Command logic controls four transistors that form a bridge. The output is a 20 kilo Hertz signal across resonant circuit 5.5, 5.6. A step up transformer (5.7) produces the high voltage which is then rectified (5.8) to produce the voltage needed to drive the klystron. This output is compared to a variable reference (5.12) and any error adjusts the switching times.
