<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform maintenance and transport even when a switch scale is enlarged by constituting a switch unit by parallelly arranging unit switch boards for which (m)×(n) unit switches provided with (m) input lines and (n) output lines are loaded on a board, connecting the plural switch units and constituting them into a rectangular parallelepiped. SOLUTION: The unit switch boards SW provided with the (m) input lines, the (n) output lines and a unit switch part which is an exchange connection means for distributing cells arriving at the input lines to a desired output line are formed into a quadrilateral planar shape. By piling up (m)×qn switch units constituted by parallelly arranging the (q) plate surfaces of the unit switch boards for (p) stages, mp×qn switches are constituted. Thus, the plural unit switch boards are constituted in less space not two-dimensionally but three- dimensionally, the maintenance and transport are facilitated and power supply, cooling and clock supply are also facilitated.</p> |
